Dell/Microsoft Launch (PRODUCT) RED Series

Posted on 25 January 2008 by techiediva

red.jpgBono launched the (PRODUCT) RED campaign on Oprah in October of 2006. This year, the megastar joined Bill Gates and Michael Dell as they launched a new line of Dell products to benefit the (PRODUCT) RED campaign. Curiously, all these RED products are being launched just in time for February’s red madness, which usually celebrates Valentine’s day. If you’re planning to get your sweetie a RED Dell to celebrate your love, check out your options:

  • XPS M1530 and M1330 notebooks (starting price is $1,149) loaded with a (PRODUCT) RED themed Windows Vista Ultimate edition. A $50 donation goes to the Global fund.
  • XPS One  (starting at $1,599)machine loaded with a (PRODUCT) RED themed Windows Vista Ultimate
edition. A $80 donation goes to the Global fund.
  • 948 All-in-One Printer ($149). A $5 donation goes to the Global Fund.

I love the (PRODUCT) RED themed Windows Vista Ultimate edition. That thing looks HOT! Although, I’m not sure how I’d feel about seeing RED all the time.

It’s a Purse, No it’s a Laptop Bag

Posted on 25 January 2008 by techiediva

Delight.com the place for all things chic is featuring the beautiful Persida Lapsac bag by Nanda Home tote bag. This bag is for girls who hate laptop bags that look like laptop bags. This stylish oversized bag has a padded zipper front that can hold your Macbook, and as the site says, this bag is perfect when you’re traveling. Now you don’t have to carry a bag for your notebook, and another for your magazines and snacks. The cotton tote features a very feminine pink lace pattern in the front, is roomy enough to hold all the stuff you need on a daily basis.lapsak.jpg

Valentine’s Day is only three weeks away, and companies are celebrating by releasing the same gadgets in pink or red hues. Apple just introduced a rosy colored iPod nano in an 8GB capacity. Nothing else has changed on this tiny player, but if your boyfriend plans to surprise you on Valentine’s Day with a new pink iPod, he’ll have to shell out$199.  The pink iPod now joins the the RED, black, green, blue, and silver nanos also available in 8GB capacities.pinknano.jpg

Gilty Couture at Macworld

Posted on 17 January 2008 by techiediva

If you want to bling your iPod without spending thousands of dollars in gold cases lined with diamonds, there’s a cheaper alternative offered by Gilty Couture. The cases were on display at Macworld, including a gold case that’s not even on their website. The smaller cases that fit the iPod shuffle start at $55 and go all the way to $175 for a Swarovski lined iPod classic case. Check out some of the pics we took at Macworld.

Sex: The Best and Worst Gift on Valentines

Posted on 15 March 2007 by Techie Diva

This may be old news, but I’m fascinated by people’s attitudes towards Valentines Day. On one side you have the people who look forward to romantic getaways and other sexy surprises, and on the other, you got the cynics who hate the holiday’s commercialization. So what do people really want? I don’t even think they really know. No matter what you do, you’re bound to get something wrong. I mean, how can sex be the worst Valentine gift? According to Vizu’s survey 26% of respondents think sex is the worst Valentines Day gift, and would rather get hardware or auto parts. But take heed, giving her cleaning supplies will put you the dog house eternally.

*41% say sex is their favorite gift
*57% expect to receive sex
*23% are less likely to have sex

It’s no wonder more than half of those surveyed (67%) don’t look forward to the holiday. Via Bub.bilcio.us

Spy-Cye lightens housework load

Posted on 06 March 2007 by girlrobot

spycyeEver had way too much housework to handle, that you sometimes wish that husband of yours would actually help out with stuff like vacuuming? Although Valentine’s Day is over, it is not too late to bug him to pick up this Spy-Cye Robot for you, as it will definitely be a welcome addition to the family. What does this robot do for your house exactly, you ask? For starters, it is smart enough to perform tasks such as delivering the mail as well as serve tea and biscuits to guests.

Heck, I suspect men will help out their wives more at home if given the chance to do so with a little help from technology. This is where the Spy-Cye Robot comes in handy, since it is remotely controlled from a computer. Your man can now vacuum the house (yes, the Spy-Cye even vacuums!) from the comfort of his La-z-Boy lounge chair without missing major parts of the big game on TV. All you need to do is smile and coax him to part with $695 of his cash, and you’re good to go.

Even the Slightest Touch Helps

Posted on 28 February 2007 by girlrobot

Valentine’s Day might be over, but it is never a sin to purchase a gift for your significant other even on non-occasions, what more one that will bring some much needed spice to the bedroom. The Slightest Touch is one unique device that aims to rev up your partner’s libido using the power of electricity. I am sure that most Casanovas have done plenty of reading on how to turn a woman on (the answer doesn’t lie in looks and money) as well as all of her sensitive spots, but the ankles?!?

Cheezy Picky-Up Lines

Posted on 14 February 2007 by Techie Diva

What’s the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard? Rex Hermogino from San Diego went to New York City to find out. Cute Valentine’s Day video. But, I want to hear what’s the worst pickup line you’ve ever heard. My favorite is “Your daddy must have been a baker, because you’ve got a nice set of buns.”  or “If I could rearrange the alphabet, I would put U and I together.” Can’t blame you for trying though.

Anyway Happy Valentine’s Day!

Why Choose When You Can Have Both: Gems On My Gadgets

Posted on 14 February 2007 by Felicia Sanchez

With the huge variety of “blinged” out gadgets this year, a girl doesn’t have to choose between gems or gadgets this Valentine’s Day. She can have both! Boys take heed if you are having trouble between deciding on that gold heart necklace or the latest electronic gizmo.

Solidalliance, famous for their unique usb drives, has these Swarovski studded USB keys. The I Heart You one is perfect for Vdays. She will be thinking of you everytime she is transferring data from her computer. Available in 512MB, 1GB or 2GB.

Taken from [Akihabara News]

If diamonds are your girl’s best friend and gadgets are her second love, then this is the perfect accessory for her….computer: The world’s most expensive mouse encrusted with real diamonds from fabstuff. You can also personalize it with your own message! Forget the diamond ring from Tiffany’s, at the price of $24,000+, if she doesn’t marry you, I will.

Girls love talking on the phone. You just can’t go wrong with the Diamond Crypto Smartphone which is made of solid platinum, rose gold and encrusted with white and blue diamonds. If the $1.3 million price tag is too steep for you, try one of the other phones from this list of the most expensive cell phones from this past year.

So everybody has an ipod nowadays. Help your girl stand out with this gold and diamond casted mp3 player by Trekstor for $20,000. Who wants a pink ipod now?

Ok, so even if you can’t afford these blinged out gadgets remember to show your geeky girl some love today even if it’s with a free ecard!
