Fashion Tasers: Zap’em with Style

I like to think of myself as a pretty peaceful person, but a taser would definitely make me feel a bit safer on the street. Last year, TASER made quite the impression with a pinkified taser, and this year, they’ve gone all out with leopard-skinned zappers that would certainly spark a conversation or two at those crazy taser parties we’ve been hearing about. To complement the stylish taser, the company released a case with built-in MP3 player so you always keep your taser within reach. The new fashionable Taser C2 will set you back about $350, while the holster-music player retails for $73.

PCWorld took some interesting video of FemiSapien, WowWee’s follow-up and robot companion to the Robosapien. She has many modes that make her dance, blow kisses, and learn new moves. She’ll be available until September for $99.

Panasonic’s Larger Than Life “LifeWall” Concept TV

CES 2008 was all about HD and the future of televisions. My favorite concept was Panasonic’s LifeWall TV, a wall-sized interactive screen that lets each user design their own space with virtual decorations, and screens that follow you and resize depending on where you are in the room. The wall recognizes each indivudidual user, so when the user stands in front of the wall, they have the option to surf the internet, watch movies, display videos or photos, have videophone conversations, and even take remote classes with the help of an IP camera. You have to watch the video to understand how it works, so here it is. Read more
