Don’t you just hate it when you’re all set to enjoy the latest summer blockbuster when somebody’s cell phone rings, disrupting the flow of the movie by interrupting the on-screen dialog? Well, with the Portable Cell Phone Jammer, that can be a thing of the past - at least in your immediate vicinity. Imagine being a modern day wizard, casting a ‘Silence 15-feet radius’ spell that prevents anyone within that range from casting a spell. This model will create a dome of cellular silence within 32 feet, blocking the following frequencies - GSM850, EGSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900, CDMA800, WCDMA/CDMA2000, PHS, DECT and 3G. Unfortunately, the battery lasts for up to 1.5 hours only, so use this wisely if your movie is much longer than that. Would you be willing to part with $246 for this?

Most webcams these days come in a professional and business-like manner, looking all serious in their design. Well, there is a lighter side to things always and the USB Mirror Web Camera from Brando proves it. This mirror comes with two dozen white LED lights surrounding it, helping your face light up whenever you want to hold a video call with somebody over an instant messaging program. Works well as an impromptu make up mirror for the ladies at the office too, if you ask me. The mirror comes in handy as you can make sure there are no bits of food stuck between your teeth before you chat somebody up, while those who are more suspicious of their colleagues can always use this to make sure nobody sneaks up on you. The 1.3 megapixel webcam ought to function just like any other generic device in its class, and will retail for a rather hefty $79.

It is often said that when you lose one of your senses, the rest will be heightened in order to compensate for that loss. The same can be said for the blind or visually impaired, as their sense of touch reaches supernatural levels, being able to decipher tiny Braille writings without a hitch. Enter the Blind Karaoke system that will debut at Japan this fall, where the software solution will work with the Seika Version 3 Braille Pin Display. The lyrics will be translated to Braille characters, and you then get to croon out in your best voice your favorite songs of yore. No idea on the pricing, nor whether this will be released internationally or not.

Do you get all fidgety each time you answer the phone? Well, instead of doodling mindless caricatures, why not redirect that habit to the fake foamy edamame (some kind of vegetable that you get at Japanese restaurants) cell phone strap? This is the Asian replacement for bubble wrap mania I guess, and pushing the edamame out of their respective pods is rather fun in itself. Each time they pop out, they will feature tiny alien or smiley faced pods, and these will tuck right back in seamlessly for you to repeat as many times as you like. It might get rather irritating to those around you after a while, but at least it isn’t as noisy as bubble wraps nor drumming your fingers on the table.

Mention the word MP3 player and most people will think iPod, never mind that that is actually a portable media player that does video as well. Still, most of us think that MP3 players do nothing but playback tunes, with the Fragrance MP3 player doing more than that - it is actually capable of filling up the room with a scent of your choice. There are plenty to choose from, including lemon, chocolate, rose and strawberry among others. Unfortunately, this model comes with just 256MB of storage space, which isn’t much to shout about in the first place by today’s standards. Getting this for a friend might come across as an insult if the recipient misunderstands that he/she has a B.O. problem.

Most people I know who have placed their eyes on the Asus Eee PC (no matter the variant) have a soft spot for this tiny wonder, and that’s probably because they can identify with the pain of lugging around a large notebook wherever you go even if you only want to check your e-mail. Well, Asus’ latest Eee PC 1000H has been released in Korea with additional colors - red, pink and lime color. It will come with a 80GB hard drive for all your data storage needs, 1GB RAM for decent performance and a 10″ LCD display, Battery life has also been increased to 7.8 hours - pretty phenomenal by any standards, thanks to Asus’ exclusive Super Hybrid Engine.

Are you a big fan of snorkeling and diving? If the answer is yes to both underwater sports, then the Liquid Underwater Mask is just the device for you. It not only helps protect your eyes from the stinging sea water during your dives, it also comes with a built-in digital camera right smack in between both lenses. You will be able to choose from 3 or 5 megapixel CMOS sensor models, and other features include an LCD display, 16MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot (up to 2GB in capacity), a USB port (presumably to transfer data directly) and video recording capability at VGA resolution at 25fps. It will retail in Japan for 75€ and works up to depths of 30 meters. Just make sure the camera is dried out before you place it near a computer for data transfer.

Apparently, some sleuthing around by Macnn has resulted in the unearthing of the rumored iPhone nano. It looks rather strange at first glance, and don’t you think that it would be better to have a reversible design with the clickwheel located on one side along with the secondary display while the large touch screen is on the other side? Whatever the end result is, what you see above could most likely be it since DLO (a famous third party accessory manufacturer for all things Apple) have been working on a nano-styled iPhone dock since a couple of years back. Patience is the keyword here, so all we need to do is sit and wait.

Remote controlled toys are always fun to drive, at least until the battery runs out. With the RC Ducati bike, most people will notice something very different about it - there is an integrated gyro that enables the bike to be steered by the leaning motion of the tiny plastic rider, making the entire thing much more realistic. Of course, at the speed it moves around, chances are those with a lesser eye for detail won’t be able to notice the leaning driver, but that’s not the point. The entire bike is a 1:12 scale of a licensed Ducati machine, featuring digital proportional steering, spring suspensions and a braking response. You can pick this up for $95, and it is accompanied by a remote that’s available in a couple of different frequencies.

What you see here might not look like a conventional bicycle, and that’s because it isn’t. You can use it as an ordinary, gas-free mode of transport whenever you want to sweat it out, or switch over to full electric mode when the going gets too tough for you, especially when tackling those challenging uphill slopes. In full electric mode, it is able to run for up to 30 miles at a maximum speed of 20mph. Alternatively, those who want to remain within the middle line can opt for pedal assist, increasing your range to 100 miles with a 3 to 5 hour recharge. Of course, you can get a cheap, second hand car for this Pi 8 Speed Electric Bicycle as it costs a whopping $5,500, but think of all the gas you’ll save in the long run, not to mention the amount of exercise you’ll get out of this thing.
