Tony Hawk Sidekick LX

Skateboarders and gamers are all too familiar with the legendary Tony Hawk, well now they can show their love and admiration for the skateboarding star with a limited edition Tony Hawk Sidekick LX, to be released sometime in July. The new Sidekick LX will feature video capabilities, enhanced Web browsing features, and Bluetooth (welcome to 2008). Now don’t expect the Tony Hawk Sidekick to be shaped like a skateboard. What you can expect is a skateboard-themed device with a grip-tape back that looks and feels like the surface of a skateboard, lots of Tony Hawk multimedia goodies like wallpaper, sounds, and video, and art fit for a skateboarding enthusiast. If you think you could use the extra help, give them a call at 877-377-3765 starting on October 31st until Nov. 1st at 9AM PST. Normally, they charge $50 to $100 for this service, but this Halloween you get the special treatment with services that repair malware damage, speed up your system or makes sure your other your security software is working properly. The catch is they’ll try to get your on board as a Cyberdefender customer, but you’re not obligated to sign up for anything, unless that is, a service like this helps you sleep better at night. Organize Your Cable Mess

I’ve been trying to get better at organizing my cable mess, so recently I bought a beautiful black box from The Container Store and hid all my power strips along with cables in it. The cables come out on one end to plug to my computer, and only two cables go out of the box to plug into the wall. It’s better than having a small mess of roll-up cables on one corner. My next project is going to focus on labeling cables. I currently have all those extra cables in a box, and it gets confusing trying to figure out what cable belongs to what gadget. I’ve been looking for an easy way to label those wires, and I’m glad I found the ID Pilot Wire Identification Labels. Three types of sticky labels are available (Office, Electronics, and Household) so you don’t ever have to wonder what cable goes to what. At $6 a package, these ID labels are a great buy.

Early Daylight-Savings Changes

We’re only a few weeks away from the new daylight-savings time which will begin on Sunday, March 11 at 2 a.m. There’s been a lot of talk of how this affects any scheduled appointments by an hour if you don’t update your mobile phone and computer software. To prevent any problems or missed appointments, check out how you can update your gear with the available downloadable updates issued for operating systems and mobiles.
