Let’s face the facts - the media throws the message that beauty is everything to us these days. Many tend to rely on physical attributes when getting around (regardless of whether male or female), and the USB Mirror Card Reader ensures you won’t have anything nasty stuck between your teeth should you gear yourself up for that power meeting with your boss just before you clinch that multi-million dollar contract to prove to the world that you have more than beauty alone to keep you going up the corporate ladder. The USB Mirror Card Reader is capable of going through a plethora of memory cards, all for $15.

Getting fresh air and enough oxygen with each breath is getting harder and harder these days, considering the amount of industrialization that has gone on in many parts of the world. Never mind, there is always this Portable Oxygen Bar that claims to be able to perk you up without the negative effects of caffeine in your coffee. While you might look pretty weird attaching this to your nose at work, at the very least you’ll be the last one laughing as your oxygen-pumped brain will be able to come up with winning strategies that impresses the boss. Unfortunately, I’m not too sure whether the $660 price tag makes it appealing enough to try out.

The Sundog Company offers help in the form of jewelry. A great idea for co-workers to give them a sense of security. This Help Key Pendant Necklace is cute and will go with most anything you wear.
I doubt that if you press the button you will get the needed help, but it might just give you the feeling that you can escape if needed. Made of sterling silver with a pendant that’s 1/2″x1/2″ square, you can wear this adorable charm out and show-off your geekesque.
There are a few other keys that they could incorporate into a collection as well. Try, maybe, the ESC key? If you’re in a cubicle at the office, you might want a Windows key…for the view.

I’ve always hated tattoos because they’re so permanent, but what if your tattoo only showed up when it was stimulated by touch? Again, Philips Design is pushing the boundaries–and creepiness factor–with tattoos that work much like electronic ink. Here’s what they say about it. "The SKIN; Tattoo project investigates the use of electronic ink that would allow people to have dynamic tattoos with an infinite number of display options. In much the same way as make-up is put on and taken off to suit the occasion, a tattoo could alter whenever desired. The tattoos could even change in response to gestures or emotions, which opens up novel ways of communicating and interacting with others."
"The purpose of the SKIN; Tattoo Probe, however, is not to discover whether Philips should be involved in high-tech body adornment. "We are interested in the concept of emotional sensing, because this may well have a major influence on the interfaces of the future," says Clive van Heerden, Senior Director of design-led innovation at Philips Design. “We have simply chosen electronic tattoos as a medium for showing our explorations."
Watch the video, you’ll see what they’re talking about. [Philips Design]

The things we do in the name of beauty. In Japan, the ladies are turning to LED lights to permeate vitamins and collagen in the skin making you beautiful from the inside out. I’m not sure how this curious device with 280 LEDs that light up in ten different patterns can do this, but those paying up to $900 for the it must know something we don’t know. The Exideal can be used while you’re working, reading, sleeping or just chilling in front of the TV watching Ugly Betty. I think I’d rather just eat my berries than submit myself to non-stop blinking lights. [via OhGizmo]

What Diva doesn’t enjoy styling things around a wardrobe or favorite piece of clothing? As geeky as you might be, you probably have a flair for style, too. In comes a neat idea to Dezign a Bag.

From the handles, lids, hardware and inserts, you can make your bag completely original and snazzy. Choose from wood and metal, multiple colors, nickel and brass, and 41 different pre-designed inserts. What I like most about the site is that you can see your bag as you design it. Make no mistakes, you’ll know what you’re about to purchase.
Not only can you completely go berserk with the customization but you can then print your own inserts on the site for a change-up. Using a .pdf template you can add your own pictures or graphics and wear them, too. Why not check it out? The bags come in at $89.95 and you can customize to your hearts desire, or use pre-made inserts for around $20 a pop.

Have you ever considered breast implants? I never have, mainly because I’m a coward when it comes to uncessary surgical procedures. But if I ever decided to go through a breast augmentation procedure, I’d have to look into Spectrum’s Postoperatively Adjustable Breast Implants. Apparently, the doctor is able to add or remove saline to the final size of the breast implants six months after the initial operation to ensure you’re happy with the end result. The adjustments are small, giving your body time to adjust without leaving ugly stretch marks. To do this, the doctor leaves a small removable fill tube attached to the implant after surgery so he can easily adjust the saline. Once you’re satisfied with the end result, the tube is removed forever. Interesting. But would you still do it?
