Baby Bottle smart enough to tell you the right temperature

New parents or inexperienced hands who are preparing milk or a formula for baby will find themselves in a quandary at the very beginning, and sometimes in our haste, we tend to forget just how hot the water is when mixed, accidentally scalding baby’s mouth to set off another round of screaming and crying that takes a couple of hours to cajole and die down. Instead of learning the hard way or risk burning your own mouth, how about this Baby Bottle concept? It features graphics that are printed with thermochromic anti-forgery ink, and these will change accordingly to show you when is the right temperature for the liquid within to be consumed. Surely, this takes out a whole lot of guesswork, and we are amazed something like this has not been released to the mass market already.

Sony Ericsson F305 Hello Kitty Edition

Well well, what have we here? Another Hello Kitty cell phone in the market? Seriously, there is more than enough of such feline-laden handsets that it gets old and fast, but somehow, there seems to be a strong enough market demand for it that the Sony Ericsson F305 Hello Kitty edition won’t be the last to hit the market. The F305 caters mainly for folks who want to get a fair bit of gaming done on their phone, featuring dedicated gaming keys, stereo speakers that are supposedly above the industry average, a Memory Stick card slot, stereo Bluetooth connectivity and an integrated FM radio. We say keep portable gaming to handheld consoles, while phones should remain as just that - communication tools.

Canine Treadmill

Dogs are lovable pets, and many of them do need plenty of exercise to stay healthy both physically and mentally. The Canine Treadmill from Hammacher was developed specially for that purpose – it allows your four legged friend to get all the exercise required without having to go outside and smell the smog (if you live in a densely populated city, that is). It comes with controls to determine the inclination, speed and distance, and the 0.5hp motor is able to move the treadmill at speeds ranging from 0.3 to 5 mph. A recessed treat holder is there to reward all of Fido’s hard work. One thing though, the master ought to get a treadmill for himself since you shouldn’t just leave your dog as it is, as it ought to have a pack leader (you) to be with it when it walks so that it knows its place in the hierarchy.

Elecom goes pink with 16GB USB flash drives
Is it me, or do gadget manufacturers take the easy way out at times by unveiling some of their current line up in a gaudy pink color? Guess Elecom has taken that route with its latest USB flash drives that go by the model number MF-BWU2, although they’re easier to be remembered as the Elecom “PINK PINK PINK” USB flash drive instead. At least they have the decency to throw in a whopping 16GB of storage space with each USB flash drive, making it a whole lot handier to tote around compared to a regular 2GB or 4GB flash drive. No word on pricing, but it shouldn’t burn too big a hole in your pocket if you want to bring one home.

Twit one’s way to fame
Talk about starting early - dad-to-be Corey Menscher wants to give his kid a head start in the world of tech by building a wireless device which is able to send messages to a computer via Twitter through kicks and turns while inside the mother’s womb! This is just plain crazy and is probably a cheap publicity stunt, and who knows what type of mental scarring the poor kid will have to go through in the future. Imagine being on the playground only to be teased by the rest, “Here comes the Twitterer!” or “Why don’t you twit your way out of this!”. It just makes me wonder where can I find a book that interprets the kind of kicks a baby gives in the womb into plain English.

Unlock Your iPhone 3G
The Dev-Team might be a wee bit late on this one, but they have finally rolled out their highly anticipated iPhone 3G unlock program dubbed “yellowsn0w”. I know that the Dev-Team did tell folks not to upgrade to the latest v2.2 firmware when they first made an announcement about yellowsn0w a few weeks’ back, presumably in case it didn’t work with the latest firmware, but it was found out that the latest v2.2 firmware is required before yellowsn0w is able to do its magic. Well, this is but an oversight on their part, so no need to go all loco on the Dev-Team, eh? After all, think of all the hard work they’ve put in for you - and for free, to boot. via Ubergizmo

VISA card gets diamonds
Just when you thought that everyone around you are tightening their belts, along comes the Eurasian Bank from Kazakhstan, offering a new VISA card that targets members of its private club that consists mainly of VIP clients. This is a truly unique VISA card that features a shimmering 0.02 carat diamond as well as some inlaid gold in the pattern. Only those who earn more than $300,000 annually will be qualified to receive this card, while filthy rich folks outside of Kazakhstan will be able to get their hands on one if they feel like they want to splurge in style. There is no idea on the actual value of the card itself, but at least you know you can still live it up with the movers and shakers if you qualify for one.

Motorola RENEW is official
We know that the earth is crumbling under the stress of pollution, no thanks to the industrialized world that shows no signs of letting up. We must always remember that we are borrowing the earth from our children and not handing it down to them - that paradigm shift ought to influence our every decision when it comes to the environment. Those who change their cell phones regularly might want to think twice, and get the Motorola W233 RENEW the next time round instead. This isn’t a special phone by any means, but it is made from environmentally-friendly materials that will reduce its environmental impact when it is discarded in a landfill. Too bad it won’t feature high end features, so chances are most people will gloss over it and pick something else.

Vibrating Pillow alarm clock
Another weekday, another early morning to get out of bed. Well, instead of relying on those nasty alarm clocks that you’ve been living with since time immemorial, how about a more gentle way of waking up? That’s where the Vibrating Pillow alarm clock comes in handy - it helps you get up without waking up the dead with its incessant ringing, simply by vibrating. I wonder whether there will be the irritating tick-tock-tick-tock noise that comes out from this pillow, as that’d make it all the more harder to fall asleep. Sensitive sleeping partners might stir up when this pillow vibrates though, but at least you’ve done your best.

Wireless Illuminated Super Tiny Keyboard
Are you a frequent traveler who find it rather difficult to type on your 7″ netbook’s keyboard, and wish you had something slightly larger to let your fingers dance across? Well with the Wireless Illuminated Super Tiny Keyboard, all your portable typing troubles are over. This illuminated design even enables you to work in the dark without missing a beat - or should we say, key. In addition, it is lightweight and slim, but the $47 price tag might be a wee bit prohibitive to some as I know I wouldn’t venture past the $30 price point if I were to choose something like this. It operates wirelessly via the 2.4GHz radio frequency and has a maximum working range of 10 meters.
