Hammer Storage rolls out new pocket hard drive

Hammer Storage has been laying low for quite some time already, and this time round they're back with a vengeance with the new pocket friendly hard drive known as the morespace Portable. This portable storage device does not weigh more than 5 ounces and is able to hold a 2.5" hard drive, theoretically giving you anywhere from 160GB to a whopping 750GB of hard drive space to complement whatever is available on your notebook. It connects via USB 2.0 and draws power from there as well, so there is no need to lug around another large power adapter whenever you travel. Nice to know that Hammer Storage has also made the morespace Portable to work with various protective skins to keep it free from scratches and damage from minor knocks and falls. There is no word on pricing, but you can check out the 160GB to 500GB models, although the 750GB model won't be out until next January.
