Solar-powered camels to the rescue

Health workers who need to reach villages in rural areas while carrying vaccinations often find it a great challenge, because these vaccines need to remain refrigerated or else they would end up spoilt. Necessity being the mother of all invention, along with a little bit of human ingenuity has led a team of designers, health workers and development experts to come up with a mobile refrigerated health clinic that relies on solar energy and camels. The supplies are loaded onto camels, and health staff will be able to travel by bicycle and foot between camel camps and communities without worrying about the precious cargo spoiling, thanks to a solar panel located on top of the camel’s hump which will help keep the contents refrigerated. I wonder if they can slip in a can of beer or two on the way?
