Blind Karaoke

Posted on 13 August 2008 by BabyReaps

It is often said that when you lose one of your senses, the rest will be heightened in order to compensate for that loss. The same can be said for the blind or visually impaired, as their sense of touch reaches supernatural levels, being able to decipher tiny Braille writings without a hitch. Enter the Blind Karaoke system that will debut at Japan this fall, where the software solution will work with the Seika Version 3 Braille Pin Display. The lyrics will be translated to Braille characters, and you then get to croon out in your best voice your favorite songs of yore. No idea on the pricing, nor whether this will be released internationally or not.
