LG XD1 portable hard drive

Posted on 21 July 2008 by BabyReaps

LG seems to have their hands dipped in every part of consumer electronics, and this time round we have the XD1 portable hard drive to help tote around your data in style. It uses 2.5″ hard drives with a SATA II interface, where it is capable of hitting a maximum speed (theoretical) of up to 480 Mbps thanks to the USB 2.0 E-SATA port. You will be able to pick up the LG XD1 portable hard drive in 120GB, 160GB, 250GB and 320GB capacities, and it will come in either a gradient texture of red wine or black pearl colors. There is no word on pricing and availability despite the fact that it is already launched in Korea. What’s your budget when it comes to a peripheral such as this?
