Sony’s portable DVD player, the DVP-FX820 does not only come in red, black, blue and white colors, it is also available in pink in order to snag the target demographic that won’t purchase a device unless in comes in that particular color. All the standard features apply here, although the LCD display goes one up compared to other portable DVD players by featuring an 8″ screen size that can swivel, which is not much from 7″ but it does make a difference in the long run. You also get a pair of headphone jacks so that there is no need to fight over the audio when sharing a movie with a loved one, in addition to DVD/DVD-RW/DVD-R/DVD+RW/DVD+R/DVD+R DL, CD, MP3 and JPEG playback. A full charge offers half a dozen hours of video playback, and you can even mount this on your car to keep the kids behind occupied. $179.99 is the asking price for this gizmo.
