HOMADE MP3 i-Player

Posted on 15 April 2008 by BabyReaps

Everyone loves their LEGO - I have yet to meet a person who grew up with intense hatred for the collection of different colored bricks from Denmark. The HOMADE MP3 i-Player brings back memories of yore, looking like a traditional rectangle LEGO brick with a twist - it is actually an MP3 player. Each raised segment on the HOMADE MP3 i-Player is actually a button for you to control your music playback. Tipping the scales at a mere 26 grams, it is perfect to hang around your neck as you go about with your business. Audio is stored on a microSD memory card (up to 2GB), and the HOMADE MP3 i-Player will cost you $45.

Easy Beautiful Butt Cushion

Posted on 15 April 2008 by BabyReaps

Getting a tight ass is no easy task, and throughout the centuries there has been many methods to get just the right rear in order to turn heads whenever you walk down the street. Exercise is still the best way (can’t really help you if you’re genetically disposed to have huge hips though), but that is often the slow and tedious route. For those of us who live in the quick fix age, there is the Easy Beautiful Butt Cushion from Japan that claims to turn your butt from flabby into a tight one. And to think you don’t even need to break out a sweat as all you need to do is sit on it. No idea on why there is a hole in the middle though, but it apparently helps with your posture and ought to provide a clear channel should you decide to let out some flatulence during your butt-tightening regime.

Televisions sets are about to go all Kate Moss on us, seriously. Sony is prepping for the release of its new Bravia E4000 which according to Tech Digest, will feature some sort of picture frame styling to make it look like a real painting on the wall. The frames will offered in Midnight Sky, Aluminum, Pearly White and Dark Walnut to match your trendy living room.  The slim TVs will be available in 26-, 32-, and 40-inches and feature a USB drive connection so you can upload your own still photos you want displayed. More details will come soon, so this isn’t the last you’ll hear about it.

Dollhouse TV ensures your Barbie doesn’t miss a show

Posted on 11 April 2008 by techiediva

I wish my Dad would’ve been as cool as the guy who built a working miniature TV for his daughter’s dollhouse. Brett Foster built the first working two inch TV for his daughter, so she can watch her favorite toons, but he didn’t stop there. The 1:12 unit features connections in the back so she can also plug in her DVD, or gaming console when she get’s tired of her Barbie. He now sells the TVs online for about $200, and though they may not be HD-ready, they do have a clear crisp picture. Hmmm, I wonder if they’ll work after the DTV transition?

Would You Pay $2,350 for an iPod Dock?

Posted on 11 April 2008 by techiediva

Who needs a regular iPod dock, when you can get one covered in coral that eliminates unnecessary vibrations? I spotted this glitzy dock over at Dvice which is available in both black and white, and supports the coveted iPod Touch, as well as its older siblings. The high-end iPod dock features a USB port, analog outputs, and S-Video on the back, so you can plug in other gizmos back there. There’s no denying, this dock is pretty sweet, but who can afford the $2,350 price tag that comes with it?

BD Touch Technology from NetBlender

Posted on 10 April 2008 by Cat

NetBlender has BD Touch technology that will work directly with BD Live and allow your iPhone or iPod Touch to interact with your Blu-ray player. BD Touch would utilize the geo location features of your iPhone, the 3D sensors and easy to use QWERTY keyboard to enhance your experience. This opens doors for you to enjoy a large amount of data trading between your gadgets.

You could keep detailed lists of your Blu-ray collection and get movie suggestions that match your taste. While the movie is playing, trivia and extra information about the movie can be displayed. Games and other features could definitely enhance things for you as well. All of these things can happen as the Blu-ray is playing.

Also, your iPhone can be morphed into a lovely remote control for your Blu-ray player and keep things easily controlled from afar as you enjoy your collection. It works over a WiFi connection, so no matter where you are located, if you have that, you can enjoy BD Touch technology fairly easily.

Gold (covered) keyboard made affordable

Posted on 09 April 2008 by BabyReaps

I know everyone is gunning for Olympic gold this year in Beijing, but what about those of us who are too poor to afford a ticket there and see all the ceremonies and favorite track event? Well, console yourself with a little bit of bling on your desk with the Zip-Ang handmade gold keyboard. Before you start sweating beads, let me assure you that being handmade doesn’t necessarily mean expensive, as evident by the $214.21 price tag attached to this handmade gold keyboard. It isn’t made completely of solid gold (hence the price), but being covered with Midas’ favorite substance is more than enough for bragging rights. Should you detest gold, there are always other friendlier colors to choose from, including pink, yellow, and red.

Lipstick Stun Gun

Posted on 09 April 2008 by BabyReaps

The Lipstick Stun Gun is definitely one demure looking gizmo. Many including myself will probably mistake it for yet another essential item in a lady’s handbag, but will probably change our minds once we’re on the receiving end of its 350,000 volts. Measuring a mere 3″ in length, it is extremely easy to conceal. Available in pink, gold and the classic black, I wonder what airport security has to say about this. After all, it really does look like an ordinary lipstick so hopefully no one will get any funny ideas with this on a flight. This personal security device retails for $49.95 a pop.

Virgin America just launched two new flights to Seattle and we were there to get the scoop. David Cush, Abby Lunardini, and Charles Ogilvie gave us a tour of the plane while we were on our way to Seattle, so watch the video to see what went down.
