Seated inside lies a Hitachi 2.5″ Travelstar 5K500 hard drive. There will be two versions released - one with a standard USB 2.0 port, while the other will not only carry the aforementioned USB 2.0 port but boasts FireWire 400 and 800 connectivity as well, reaching a maximum data transfer speed of up to 800Mbits/s (theoretically speaking, of course). The former model will retail for $339.99 while the latter is going for $399.99.
