Sanyo has just released its Eneloop KIR-S1 pocket heater in Korea, and this nifty little device could not come soon enough with the winter setting in already. The KIR-S1 is powered by a lithium-ion battery that provides up to 5 hours of continuous heating before a recharge is required. Of course, 5 hours is but a ballpark figure since you can adjust the heating temperature to something which you’re comfortable with. It has a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius to prevent you from getting burnt. This diminutive pocket heater measures 84mm x 62mm x 19mm, weighs 85 grams and retails for approximately $42.

As a lady of hygiene and sophistication, I’m always on the lookout for the next best beauty product and today while I strolled through the razor isle at the local drug store, I was literally stimulated by what I found- the Gillette Venus® Vibrance™, a women’s vibrating razor. First thought… what a great two for one deal! But as I studied over this hybrid razor I came to discover the purpose of the vibrations is to exfoliate the dull, dry skin while you shave your legs; ensuring the smoothest, silkiest legs possible after shaving. In addition to these soapy-sensations, the razor blade itself comes with 3 moisturizing strips- all this for only $11.99. Gillette Venus® prides itself on its catchy slogan to draw in women, Reveal the goddess in you®. The Vibrance™ urges me to believe Aphrodite must be behind this secretly sultry merchandise. So what else can this lady of hygiene and sophistication do with my shower-safe, Duracell® AAA battery operated razor? Thanks for saving me another purchase Gillette®! (Source: GilletteVenus.com)

Google is taking the world by storm and they won’t let you get too far without seeing something branded with the logo we are all so familiar with. Now they are hitting your local gas pumps that are made by Gilbarco Veeder-Root to bring you more convenient technology.
Google is incorporating displays at thousands of gasoline pumps across the United States that offer turn-by-turn directions to your destination (or, sometimes, destinations that merchants set up). So, while you stand there pumping gas into your vehicle, you can press buttons and get directions printed on your receipt to get you to local schools, businesses or restaurants.
Maps by Google will of course be used for this, and they also plan to use the displays to even more advantageous means by placing store items up for sale that you can order and pay for, at the pump, then just run inside and receive your purchases when you are done.
Coming, to a gas station near you!

A company by the name of Clairvoyante is working to make the battery life of your favorite gadgets longer. How does this technology work?
Changing the intensity of your background is easy enough, but this company wants to make your display use bigger pixels. This would allow for more light to enter so that your whites are whiter, your blacks are blacker, and smaller fonts will appear more clear to you.
These PenTile pixels are 33% larger than your current pixels so that makes things very different in design and brings about the change that we all would like our eyes to see. With all the compact designs coming in this would be a great addition to most anything in the gadget world.
In 2008, you will probably see this technology incorporated into your favorite electronics. Check the Technology Review site for more details about what this company is doing to improve your viewing and battery life.

No idea why you would want to swallow these 0.75" long Golden Pills since they cost a whopping $429 each, but I suppose if you’re rich enough to purchase dessert with gold shavings, downing these with a glass of water isn’t going to be too much of a problem. Talk about a really expensive way to increase your self-worth! At least until you move your bowels anyway. Each Golden Pill comes with 24k gold leaves inside.

Versaly Entertainment is a leading mobile media and entertainment company, and has teamed up with its video business unit Vmbc.tv to launch Fleur - a new brand that targets today’s savvy and connected women. For the clueless, Fleur (pronounced “flur”, soft “r”) means flower in French.
Since mobile content for the female consumer has been largely ignored in the past, Versaly aims to change that by filling up the current void while bridging the gap for potentially greater consumption of mobile content, bringing extremely relevant and highly targeted content for today’s modern woman.
Versaly’s initial mobile collection of Fleur-branded wallpapers and animations will be made available to mobile carriers and web portals this week, including attractive and unique patterns which will enhance each woman’s sense of style and individuality. Future mobile collections will also touch on various categories such as dream destinations, style, inspiration and other pleasing imagery.
As for Vmbc.tv, the company will launch its Fleur mobile video-on-demand channel before 2007 is over, bringing fashion, night life, comedy, travel, finance, health and wellness, and celebrity gossip programming to the mobile user. This will be a free service, so you’ll have to bear with short, non-interruptive, suitable advertising.
