Sanyo has just released its Eneloop KIR-S1 pocket heater in Korea, and this nifty little device could not come soon enough with the winter setting in already. The KIR-S1 is powered by a lithium-ion battery that provides up to 5 hours of continuous heating before a recharge is required. Of course, 5 hours is but a ballpark figure since you can adjust the heating temperature to something which you’re comfortable with. It has a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius to prevent you from getting burnt. This diminutive pocket heater measures 84mm x 62mm x 19mm, weighs 85 grams and retails for approximately $42.
