The iPhone was one highly sought after device over the summer, and it goes without saying that it is a matter of time before somebody decides to bling up the iPhone, resulting in the Diamond iPhone from Amosu, making it the first of its kind in the world. You get 420 diamonds with a total weight of 5.65 carats set in 18k white or yellow gold, complete with a choice of white, black or pink sapphires to suit your taste. It will be launched next month, but you’ll have to dig deep - extremely deep for one as it retails for a cool $41,225 price.

Some of us love that celebrity gossip, don’t we? I just started a special section on Yahoo Tech called "Star Power" of interviews with celebrities where we dish about gadgets, music, videos, and what they do on their spare time. I’ve published three interviews so far, and will be publishing at least one or two interviews per week in the next couple of months. If you’re a James Blunt fan, as am I, then check out this interview. I’ve always been a James Blunt fan, but after this interview, I’m a fan for life. He’s such a sweet guy, and did you know he was an engineer too? Geeky, sensitive, and good looking–what’s not to like? Anyway, hope you enjoy the interviews. Yahoo Tech

How many trips have we made to the dentist, only to be reminded to floss year in, year out to no avail? What if there was a device that helps you remember this seemingly time-wasting but essential habit? The Dental Unit concept does exactly that, featuring a scanning plate that requires you to bite down on it and returning it to the main unit. Information inside your mouth will then be transmitted to your dentist, where you will then receive an appropriate and timely response.

It is great to see GeekGear put up this Floppy Notepad for sale on Etsy, taking what other people would normally discard to good use by turning it into a notepad of sorts. Needless to say, it got its name from a pair of 3.5" floppy disks. Each Floppy Notepad comes with 40 pages for you to doodle in. It retails for $2.99 a pop and comes in orange, blue, black, and green colors. What are some of the other eco-friendly concoctions you can think of?

Hello Kitty from Sanrio has appeared in a wide range of merchandise, and her pasty complexion now adorns a digital camera that can capture still images in 5 megapixel glory. As usual, it comes in the shape of Hello Kitty’s very own head, where the shutter is located on her left ear while the lens is strategically located in the bow tie. Other features include a 2" LCD display, 4x digital zoom, SD memory card support (sorry, no SDHC support here), and 32MB of internal memory in case you run out of SD cards during the most crucial of moments. No word on pricing, but this Hello Kitty 5 megapixel camera measures 85mm x 25mm x 71mm and weighs 80 grams.

LEGOs are great toys to develop and stimulate a child’s mind, but over the years this toy from Denmark has evolved to include a more adult-oriented participation. Designer Jin Woo Han has taken the LEGO idea to another level with his Electric LEGO concept. The main thrust of this idea includes placing LEGOs on a main board that looks like a standard LEGO piece, where this board consists of electrically charged notches. Each LEGO avatar standing on this board will come to life the moment it comes into contact with the board, giving you an instant living LEGO diorama. Pretty neat idea to have in the home, no?

As some of you may know, this week has been a busy week for journalists covering the CTIA event in San Francisco, so I apologize for the light blog posting here. A lot of hands-on reviews of great products coming out this holiday season, so we’ll be talking about them in the next couple of days. I attended the Mobile Focus mini-event last night at the Meteron where I spotted some great phones like the Luxury RAZR2 V8 (I hear it will most likely cost $299) which I thought was a little flashy at first, but wasn’t as chintzy as I originally thought it would be. I also thought the new Motorola Q Music had a nice interface when you switch to the music player side, and I loved the new color. The Moto U9 reminded me of a thinner version of the Pebble, and besides being so ultra-feminine, it has a tiny screen on the front that plays fun animations. Definitely a nice handful of phones. I also spotted the LRG iPhone cases I told you about earlier, and the Aloha phone by LG which is really lightweight. After the Mobile Focus event, I headed over to the Supperclub to chat with Tila Tequila who was hosting a party, along with INGrooves and Emdigo (make sure you check them out). She tells me her new show "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" has been airing on MTV, and doing very well. MTV’s ratings have actually gone up since the show aired! It was Tila’s Birthday today, so we wish her a Happy Birthday too! We took lots of pictures, so make sure you stop by to check them out on our Flickr page.

When placed side by side with 7" digital photo frames, you’ll realize that the Gigantor Digital Photo Frame truly lives up to its name at a whopping 15", putting it on par with LCD monitors of yesteryears. Strangely enough, the price doesn’t really bust your purse at $249.99, making it a true blue bargain if you were looking for one. It comes with a cherry wood frame and displays both JPEG and BMP formats, featuring a memory card adapter that handles a wide array of flash memory cards.
