Remember that little article we published about the SCRAM Bracelets, and how they work? It seems these alcohol monitoring devices just can’t stay off celebrity ankles. We’ve seen them on Lindsay Lohan, Michelle Rodriguez, and Eve, but I never expected them to actually become a fashion accessory. The black ugly tracking device was spotted walking down the runway at a recent Karl Lagerfield fashion show. Not sure if this was a joke or if the model wearing it was actually supposed to be wearing one, but isn’t this trend going too far? Via Fashion Weekly

I think these bracelets are awful! But I’m sure they have all chances to become a fashion trend. There are so many silly fashion victims and teen-girls who take after Lindsay Lohan, Eve, etc, in everything without any thought whether it is good or not….

That’s pretty weird. I do think that there’s a tendency for things that are “bad” to become “cool”. I think smoking is like that, and the more they promote the idea that smoking is dangerous and unhealthy, the more popular it becomes because it represents rebellion, bravado and attitude.
Maybe these things will be seen the same way? Crazy!
