The Japan division of Creative has just lifted the veil on the Travelsound i50, bringing yet another portable speaker for the iPod Shuffle to an already oversaturated market. Will the Travelsound i50 actually find relevance in today’s market? That’s a bit hard to say - as you know, different strokes for different folks. I must admit that the Travelsound i50 does look pretty trendy though, but do be careful where you want to publicly share your favorite tunes with as not everyone will appreciate your eclectic choice of audio.

All you need to do is snap your 2G iPod Shuffle on top of the Travelsound i50, place the translucent protective cover on top and you’re good to go. It even comes with a carabiner-like loop that makes hooking this speaker around your belt loop or backpack all the more easier. Since the speaker comes with its own rechargeable battery (via USB), you don’t have to worry about exhausting your tiny Shuffle’s battery any faster. The Creative Travelsound retails for approximately $69 in Japan, with no word of a worldwide announcement.
