I get so much Viagra spam, I absolutely avoid anything with that name. The V/ a. .g. r. a. lamp was different though. Designed by Romolo Stanco, the lamp is hangs down due to gravity, until it is switched on. The lamp begins to curl up to take its shape as soon as it is charged with electricity. Once it’s turned off, the lamp goes back to its limp state. This post is starting to sound a little too sexual, then again, I’m sure that was the intention of the designer who aptly named it V/ a. .g. r. a.

This is such a diva bag! The Icy Bag is a multi-use chilled accessory bag that keeps your makeup from melting in this hot, hellish weather. It contains a gel pack that can be frozen then stored in an attached nylon pouch to keep anything inside cool. It also works with food, medications, and anything else you want to keep cool. Thankfully, I don’t need it where I live now, but if I lived anywhere else, I’d probably never leave home without one. Looks pretty handy.

I struggle with organization in my purse. On one hand, I want to be able to find anything in my bag, especially a phone, in a matter of seconds. On the other hand, I don’t want my bag to look too organized for fear of being labeled a neat freak. Don’t get me wrong ladies, there’s nothing wrong with being organized once in a while, but take a look inside the The Butler Bag and you’ll see what I mean by too organized. It looks fabulous in shiny grain leather, and sexy colors, but the bonus feature is the compartmentalized interior that keeps your makeup from breaking, shades from scratching, and gives you easy access to your phone. And you know how much people hate it when you miss calls? Right guys? Celebs like Hillary Duff, Mya, and Melanie Paxon are rocking the neat freak look, and I think geeky gals will love how this bag will keep your expensive iPhone away from those keys. You gotta love the idea, even if it makes you feel like you got a bad case of OCD.

I love this idea. I really do because how often are you connected to your laptop with VoIP going and you wished you could just walk around and not be connected to it with wires? In comes the Vo200 from Kensington. A Bluetooth handset that will give you that freedom.
This handset flips open neatly so you can talk and connect but while you’re off the ‘phone’, it folds flat and stores directly in your laptop PC slot, to charge up for the next use. Talk about compact and easy to carry!
My laptop has wireless and an empty PC slot that this would fit nicely into for storage. I think I’m going to look this one up and see about a future purchase for myself or family. I know a few that are tied to their VoIP accounts pretty closely and this would be an excellent gift idea for them. Coming in at around $90, all you need is Bluetooth support or a Bluetooth adapter on your laptop to get things working.
Kensington has the following features listed on their site:
- Place clear calls with advanced echo cancellation and noise suppression technology
- Sleek design folds into the size of a PC Card and stores in your laptop!
- Use convenient handsfree or handset mode to talk privately over the internet
- Continuously charges when stored to maximize your talk time
- Always ready when you are — just pull it out and turn it on!
- Use with your favorite Internet phone services: Skype™, MSN®, Yahoo®, Google™…
- Blinking light warns when you have 10% talk time left
- Over 3 hours of serious talk time and up to 30 hours of standby time

USB missle launchers, fans and now…a Mini Fridge? That’s right, you can now keep your beverage (not a few, just one) cooled with Brando’s USB Mini Fridge. It plugs directly into your USB port and even has a cute little internal LED light so you can wonder if the light stays on when you close the door.

More mystery we really don’t need, right? I can see how this would be a wonderful device but if you’re a Monster drinker like my brother, you can forget this. It looks to only fit a standard sized can of Coke, DP. Too bad there’s no room for more, but if you typically have one drink near you, this would serve to keep it cool just for you.
Goes to 8.5 degrees in just 5 minutes of use so that your beverage is nicely cooled. Dimensions are 19.4×9x9cm in case you measure your favorite drink can for compatibility.
Maybe they should sell a lock for the door so that it’s safe from co-workers! Visit the main site and purchase this cute gadget for around $33.

A multi-monitor stand can be priceless in our multi-tasking world of computing today and Ergotron has a model that you will be pleased with. With naturally angled curves that your LCD monitors will follow, based on a design with mounting rail curves, you will find convenience and comfort.

Check out the LX Triple Display Lift Stand. The kit comes with all the parts you need and instructions to lead you to configure three VESA-compliant flat panels. With a heavy-duty stand to hold them up, the LX doesn’t use heavy screws or a clamp to get the job done. You use a mounting rail instead and this allows you to set the LCD’s up and hang them on the rails instead.
For a clean and efficient workspace, check out the Ergotron site and find this stand for around $300. Read a more detailed review that Ergotron links to on their site here.

I don’t know how many of you out there have been caught up in the Guitar Hero revolution but I have a teenager and younger that enjoys the game, as well as a few nephews that play. I have seen how interested they get with the game and how challenging it is (yes, I had to play it some) and I’ve been impressed with the viral aspect of it. You do realize that people compete with this game, right?

If you haven’t seen the game, you probably will eventually. But now, NOW MTV Games is working with the developers, Harmonix Music Systems, to create an music video game that not only incorporates the guitar, but this one gives you the opportunity to play with 4 players and different instruments.
Drums, microphone, bass/rhythm guitar and lead peripherals will all be included for this game setup. The plan is to also allow this game to be a both online and offline capable which could really make things interesting. Word is, they will also release a Wii version.
Harmonix is reported saying that Guitar Hero, during development had a team of around 30 people and this game, Rock Band, has close to 100 working with it. Imagine the possibilities this one’s going to bring to up and coming stars! Some of the songs you will hear will include Weezer’s ‘Say It Ain’t So’, Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid’, The Who’s ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’, and Nirvana’s ‘In Bloom’.
Look for this to be released around the holidays here in the US.

Dress up your iPod with some fancy lights and show your originality a bit. Griffin Technology has a disko case that is polycarbonate with included lights. A hard outer shell to protect your iPod (which should be your FIRST priority) and the added feature of lights to brighten your listening experience some.

A ring of colored LEDs around the Click Wheel lights up and gives you a show with lights that swirl, flash and chase in a variety of fun patterns, triggered by movement. Three light colors and five lighting sequences with two case color choices (clear or black) give you plenty of room to enjoy your case while listening to your favorite music.
This case is motion controlled and lights up with movement. Griffin also has choices for the Sanso and nano. This one comes in at $29.99 so it’s not bad for a change from your boring, non-lighted case.

I hate grating cheese. In fact, I hate grating potatoes too. I don’t think that makes me lazy I think I just hate the action of doing something over and over and over. The same goes for grinding up fresh pepper. I love to eat and I love spice but when it comes to the lovely grinders that I always end up with, I usually give up early and use less pepper than I would normally desire.

So, needless to say, the Graviti Pepper Mill caught my eye AND my heart. This grinds up your peppercorns or my other favorite, sea salt, with just the tip of the grinder. No twisting and fumbling with it, just fill it up, set the desired coarseness or fineness of your chosen spice and flip it!
You can watch a video here or purchase the grinder here for $29.99.
Features:
- Requires 6 AAA batteries (not included)
- 8" tall x 2.25" wide
- Ceramic
- 1 year warranty

You are living in a fast-paced world and you need to keep up. How can you add to your time management with gadgets?

This DVDirect DVD recorder might help with some of that. Sony has created a way to bypass the use of a computer when transferring movies from your capture device to the actual DVD. Do you like sharing home movies? Do you work with the public to create memorable videos?
Sony wants you to look into saving time while making high-definition videos. The VRD-MC5 recorder can transfer from Sony hard drive or Memory Stick Handycam camcorder keeping the 1080i HD resolution. Not only that, but it can also pull from other devices including most camcorders, VCRs or digital camcorders but those are standard-definition.
Depending on your needs, Sony can probably save you quite a bit of time and the VRD-MC5 can also record digital photos to a DVD as a slideshow or simply for personal photo storage from any of the five most-used digital camera
memory cards.
Read the Press Release for more specifications.
