I loved bubble wraps as a kid, and even as an adult, any packaging that comes with bubble wrap will be deflated in due course of time, especially when I sit in my cubicle while mulling over the day’s tasks. If not for the soothing, therapeutic feeling that envelope me each time I burst the bubble wrap, I would have long been admitted to a nuthouse while wearing a straight jacket. Thankfully, there is a God after all, and this time He has answered my prayers with the PuchiPuchi Infinite Bubble Wrap Toy.
What you get is a toy that comes with eight different bubble wrap replicas that mimics the sound and feeling of popping an actual bubble wrap. For obsessive compulsive folks, every 100 pops will result in the PuchiPuchi playing out a random sound effect (they range from “door chime”, “barking dog”, “fart”, and “sexy voice”). To make the PuchiPuchi all the more collectible, 1 in every 1,000 of these sold will actually come with heart-shaped bubbles instead.

Now this is definitely one toy that would make a great addition to any kids’ bedroom, and I suspect that even the adults would want in on the action. By day, this soft plush toy looks and acts like any other normal bedroom accessory, but when the sun sets and lights go off in the room, the Twilight Turtle transforms into its alter ego. Its plastic shell doubles up as a planetarium, projecting the night sky onto the ceiling to keep both kids and adults alike inspired with jaws wide open.
Choose from white, blue, or green colors. Apparently, research has shown that those three colors have relaxing, rejuvenating, and calming qualities about them. I seriously don’t doubt that, but the excitement of seeing up to eight major constellations could send nerdy kids wild, causing them to be unable to sleep instead. Each Twilight Turtle retails for £34.95 and is suitable for kids aged three and above.

PC case mods aren’t exactly the newest idea in town, but most of the time, these mods are just ordinary PC cases tacked on with flashing lights and other unnecessary items. Very rarely do you ever come across a PC case mod that features something built from scratch, but today I have stumbled upon (no pun intended to Digg’s rival) this Digg PC case mod. According to the creator, this Digg case was built with convenience and price in mind, where all hardware within are easily removed save for the power supply.
Made from mainly 1/2" MDF (medium density fiberboard) with a few acrylic windows, this case is way cheaper than aluminum and acrylic, although dust issues crop up whenever you want to cut it. Even putting some screws into place cause problems like bulging or small fractures, so some knowledge of D.I.Y. is greatly appreciated. The final product is a definite stunner and bound to drive any geek wild. If only these were made for the commercial market - I’d so get one.

When the Rubik’s Cube was first released, it caused quite a stir across the whole world. I suppose it was one of those puzzle crazes back in time, where the modern equivalent would include Tetris (in the digital format) and Sudoku. Since it’s inception, the Rubik’s Cube has held a special place in most people’s hearts and have long been a recognizable icon, so it is no surprise to see such a familiar item being used to brighten up the living room as furniture.
Created by New York design firm Jellio, these tables are actually blown up versions of the diminutive Rubik’s Cube and made from acrylic. These tables measure 16" x 16" x 16", so you can always tuck it away in the corner as a telephone table or a cute little coffee table. It would have been nice to see Jellio include some form of twisting, but they are all perfectly solved with each $600 purchase. Methinks that is paying way too much for something as rudimentary as that, but then again money and sense hardly see eye to eye when it comes to fashion.

iPod apparel are getting more and more common these days, but they aren’t exactly the norm just yet. We have seen all sorts of clothing, ranging from shirts, jackets, and even suits that conceal your iPod somewhere while offering controls on the sleeve, but most of these are worn by men since the apparel manufacturers seemed to have forgotten about the iPod toting female population. That day is over, as I am pleased to announce this new range of mini-skirts, capris, and bootleg pants that are more than capable of holding your iPod.
Prices for this range of musically inclined apparel aren’t exactly sky high, but they are a tad expensive compared to regular clothing - ranging from $55 to $96. Still, it is nice to carry your iPod around without hooking up a case to the side of your waist all the time. Thankfully, the range doesn’t include a single one of those ridiculous headwear that carry the iPod.

Take a look inside and around your purse. What do you see? Most women often have to do spring clean their purse or handbags once a week, getting rid of used tissue, ticket stubs, receipts, and all those dust bunnies that seem to magically reappear week after week despite being served eviction notices once every seven days. Not only that, handbags are often the refuge of many a cosmetic item, lending to the clutter further. Cosmetic company Modelco decided that there is a better way of doing things, and they have come up with a brand new lip gloss brush.
This ain’t no ordinary lip gloss brush though, as it boasts a magnifying mirror over the cap, and an LED on the brush itself, giving you the opportunity to touch up on your mug even in the darkest of situations without missing a beat. Then again, you could also use this Lip Gloss Brush as an emergency torchlight when rummaging through your handbag in the middle of a cinema. You can pick one up for $27.
