Windows Vista is released!!!! Earlier Gina submitted an article from ZDnet.com about the need of Windows Vista. Most people are wondering if their computers are compatible with Vista. Heck most of the PC’s you see at computer stores say it is Vista compatible. Let’s look into the features with Vista and see what upgrades you need from your Windows XP operating system. So this article is assuming you have Windows XP, if you have an earlier version of XP, I would recommend checking this out first.

I’m in the middle of my personal "Slanket Experience" but I have to take a quick break and let others know how much I love my Slanket. Let me tell you this, though, it’s NOT a blanket. It’s NOT a poncho, either.

No, this is a blanket fitted with large cuffed sleeves that hug your arms in warmth but still allow you to work on your laptop or other activities. You lay down and cover up…then you can choose to put your arms through the large sleeves so that you can function.
I live in Colorado and many evenings our house gets just a smidge chilly when I sit by the windows. This lovely Slanket of a product has completely eliminated my chilly moments and has actually taken the place of my favorite blanket that I used to have on my couch.

Comes in a great size: 60" W x 100" L with 13" wide sleeves
I have been joking with family when they call or come into the room that I’m "having a Slanket experience, don’t interrupt" and it has become a household word. I think I’ve talked a few family members into considering a purchase over at the Slanket site and I look forward to seeing what colors they choose. I’m enjoying a "Castlerock" grey Slanket but they come in five colors.
Machine wash in cold and tumble dry in low heat and you can clean up your Slanket for further use. Now, I’m going to go back to my Slanket and experience the new found warmth while I surf.

Booth babes move over, the guys at builtny got it. At the recently concluded CES, the builtny booth had this two guys in orange overall instead of the typical eye candy who attracts all the nerds to the booth. Don’t get me wrong, the guys did a wonderful job, they where friendly compared to some booth babes who normally ignore you, have better things to do like stare at their nails and have little or no knowledge about the products……Anyway I have nothing against booth babes, especially the ones at Yahoo! Thanks for the ice-cream. BuiltNY is known for it’s award winning Two Bottle Tote, now they have an electric line for laptop portfolio cases, charger bag, laptop sleeves, and electric pockets [blackberries, PDAs, Digital cameras…]. Their products combine both beauty and function, the materials used are durable, and they pay attention to detail.>>> [Images]

I’m well aware that I might be neglecting my pet just a little bit, but he’s lucky he’s a cat, and not a dog. I pity anyone who has to walk their dog in this cold weather. I mean, what do you do when your mutt has to go pee, and you’re at work? As much as I would love to have a dog, they’re just too much work. If you’re a guilt ridden dog owner, who doesn’t even go on the occasional walk yourself, well be glad that someone out there created a doggy treadmill. It’s one thing to take the dog outside to potty, but how many of you actually walk them? [Gizmodo]

We’ve seen many ridiculous belts, such as those game controler belts, and here’s another belt you can file under horrendous fashion statement. Fred Flare now carries Paul Franks Lego block belt ($20) for those days when you can’t decide which belt to wear. If you want to keep it colorful, they also have some cute heart panties in vibrant colors (in case they peek out of your jeans), and a Lego makeover case for all your cool cosmetics.

Anyone who works in a big company needs a badge to get in and out of buildings throughout campus. Instead of sporting your badge like everyone else, why not get a little funky with Onatoko’s adorable smart ID holders with retractable strings. They’re available as a red devil or cute kitty cat. The company also has some Bikini Pig cellphone holders, monitor cleaners and other curiosities.
