Now that we’re too addicted to our laptops, it’s tough leaving them behind when we do things that require us to be around water. Long showers are a thing of the past, and tanning by the pool is not an option anymore. Spray tans are healthier, and take less time. I haven’t heard of too many waterproof laptops, but apparently the Japanese are all over it. Yes, NEC has developed the ShieldPro waterproof laptop that can withstand water, cold, and even drops. Plastic Bamboo tells us that theis machine will be available next month for 300,000 Yen or $2,607 dollars. Toughbook, I think you got some competition.

While I have seen so many iPods in use I have often wondered how often
those that use them constantly have to charge them. I know my daughter
doesn’t use hers that often so she will charge it once a week, but
someone that utilizes the iPod in their car, while at work and then
again at home or to work out might have more issues with battery life.
iTurbo has the answer to all
your problems, if the above is your case, and allows you to charge your
iPod on the run. Never run out of power while using your iPod.
This electronic, portable and reusable little gadget will keep your
iPod going and going and going…with only a little "energizer" power
needed. With a guarantee never
to overcharge or damage your iPod, you can feel safe while using this
to keep you going while trying to enjoy your favorite tunes or
podcasts. The iTurbo uses a standard AA battery (think about using a
rechargeable in this, too, to save on future charges, and you end up
charging with a charger that needs charging!)

I miss living in Japan, and their super cool gadgets. J-list side blog gives us a glimpse of what it’s like to walk into a Japanese cell phone store. Pictured here is Sony Ericsson’s Beauty x Beauty series with snowflake patterns lighting the exterior. So kawaii!

Motorola’s first Rockr phone was alright, but the new Motorola’s Rockr E6 is one hot PDA/phone that features a large touchscreen, 2.0 megapixel camera, MP3 player, FM radio, expandable memory, and many other features. This one is created for professionals who need to acess their World or Excel files on the road. In this video on you can see it looks bulky, and also how there are cases for it out there already. Not a bad looking phone. I’ve heard 2007 is the year for the PDA, and it is certainly starting to look that way. Press release says it should be available in December 2006, but so far it is only available in China.

It’s been a while since I’ve written about iPod cases. Is anyone buying them anymore? Maybe we’re all burned out on iPod accessories, or maybe we’ve lost all interest in dressing up iPod–always a good thing. In either case, Gearlog’s Blogging Molly found this laced-up iPod corset by Nicole Miller for shapeless music players. The case is made of silk taffeta with a lace corset detail pictured here in mint green colors. Available for $24.95 at Prima Cases. Love the lace, hate the pattern. Hopefully Nicole Miller will choose better colors and patterns next time. It kinda reminds me of Aneta Genova’s cases.

I thought Alienware was the only company that offered custom high performance PCs and laptops, I guess I was wrong. Falcon Northwest recently unleashed this Intel Core 2 Duo FragBook TLX ‘Thin and light’ series model. Less than an inch and a half thick, and weighing in at 7.5 pounds, it would make ‘Houdini wonder how it was done.’ Other features include a 17-inch anti-glare WSXGA LCD with a 1680X1050 resolution, an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 256MB VRAM graphics processing unit (GPU), a built-in standard definition TV-tuner, and realtek Hi-Def built-in stereo speakers. More features here>> Ladies you can have it dipped in almost any color.

Come on, it was only a matter of time before hoochie Barbie wannabe got on YouTube. Here are the pole stripping moves that got her banned from UK department stores. They could’ve used a better song like "I’m in Love with a Stripper" by T-Pain or something. Her night moves after the jump…
