Nokia N70 w/ Sounds

Posted on 18 November 2006 by Annie-san

Nokia is jumping on the music bandwagon and they have released the Nokia N70 Music Edition to prove their point.  With over 1GB of memory, the Nokia phone will hold more music and keep you connected.  Also includes the ability to personalize your music with a choice of digital music tracks you can directly access via a music key.

You can make use of the music-optimized headset that has a remote control setup and be even more ahead of the game.  High-performance multimedia is the way so many are going now and it is a good idea to shop around for a phone that will meet your personal needs.  If you’re searching for one that will play music, has a nice display (2.1"), is lightweight (126 grams) and uses GSM, this might be the phone for you.

Take a look at the other features like FM radio, MP3/AAC/AAC+/eAAC+ playing ability and video recording and compare it to other phones out there.  I think you’ll find the Nokia comes out ahead of many choices.

Safe Headphones

Posted on 18 November 2006 by Annie-san

Safe headphones for kids.

What?
I said, "SAFE HEADPHONES FOR KIDS!"…

All too often we take our hearing for granted and with all the new MP3 players out, many children are getting them as gifts and turning them up as LOUD as they will go.  This set of headphones will help you avoid the parental guidance needed every single moment.  These iHearSafe Earbuds will have your children staying safe but still able to enjoy music freely.

These earbuds never allow the child to reach unsafe volumes while listening.  80dB is the limit for them and that’s safe.  Ingemi wants to encourage the use of their headphones and you can view more details here.

DS + Walking = POWER

Posted on 18 November 2006 by Annie-san

Tekuteku Angel Pocket allows you to walk with a reward in the works.  The Japanese have invented a game that is powered by your movements.

Hudson Soft has the cute little pedometer that will track your walking progress and then you can upload your figures to your DS to monitor your caloric output and general health readings.

The little figure on the pedometer slowly loses weight in the picture as well.  The graphics snhow you evidence of that reward for walking.  Encouragement or otherwise, this sounds like a wonderful start to healthy choices via technology.

How To Hang Your Baby on a Stall

Posted on 18 November 2006 by Techie Diva

Babykeeper I don’t have children, but if I did I would so get a Baby Keeper. Gearlog found the solution to the dilema mother’s face everyday when they’re out shopping with the kids. There’s no way of avoiding the need to use a public restroom, but how do you keep your tiny tot from wondering around, while you’re taking care of business? I’ve seen tiny kids on their hands and knees peeking into the next stall, while their Mommies are, um, busy. "The Babykeeper is a patent pending infant carrier style seat, that hangs from the stall wall in most public restrooms, and can also be used in many public fitting rooms." I thinks this may be better than letting your kid crawl around in public restroom, but at the same time, it looks pretty cruel. Mom’s, what do you think? Check out Gearlog’s other high-tech ideas for Moms.

Hello Kitty DigiCam

Posted on 18 November 2006 by Techie Diva

Dc500_1_jpgHello Kitty seems like a distant memory, so I had to bring her back with this post on the latest digicam for your little Techie Diva in training. Exemode just released the HK DC500 5-megapixel camera with a 2" LCD display, in pink. I’ve been looking for a camera for my niece, and I think she’ll love this one. Now I have to figure out how to get it for her. Oh well, if all else fails, Target has some fun Hello Kitty stuff too. Source: Akihabara

Snap Circuits

Posted on 17 November 2006 by Keisha

When I was a young kid, I loved figuring out how thing worked. Actually, I loved taking things apart and breaking them beyond repair, but that is neither here nor there. Snap Circuits is an easy way for your kids to learn about electronics and how things work. All parts are mounted on plastic modules and snap together with ease. Each part is numbered and colored so that it will make it easy to follow the instruction booklet. With Snap Circuits you can make FM and AM radios, digital voice recorders, burglar alarms, doorbells, and more. Starting at $30, this is great for the little engineer on anybodies list. [OhGizmo]

Marble Madness

Posted on 16 November 2006 by Keisha

I am all about gadgets that are functional, but sometimes I enjoy a gadget that has no value other than to entertain. Frigits are magnetic tracks and contraptions that you can arrange to make your very own marble rollercoaster. The kit includes colorful funnels, tunnels, catapults, and spinners that can be arranged in hundreds of different combinations. Set up your set at work and watch as all of your coworkers will not be able to resist trying out your marble maze. If you were thinking of picking one up, it will run you about $30. [OhGizmo]

Griffin iKaraoke

Posted on 16 November 2006 by Cat

Griffin Technology has done it again with the iPod. One of the coolest products out there for this winter is the iPod iKaraoke. This iKaraoke is compatible with the mini, nano, ipod (4GB), and iPod video. It sends music to from your iPod to your Stereo via line-in cable, or wirelessly through your FM receiver. The iKaraoke cuts out all the lead vocal just like any other karaoke machine. Then, just use the cool little microphone to sing away or even, pause/play/next/previous the song too. It even comes with reverb effect to make your singing either sound better or worse. iKaraoke hooks up to your stereo.

Trackstick Pro

Posted on 16 November 2006 by Cat

Those neighbors up above (Canada) can come up with some cool gadgets like this Trackstick Pro. They developed a GPS system where you don’t need a huge display screen for recording your travel. This device saves data on the time, date, speed, direction, altitude, and temperature on the 4MB memory. The memory could last for a few months, then it can be transfered to your PC with the USB cable. The GPS systems can be hardwired to your cars electrical system, or you can just simply plug it into your cigarette lighter. Great buy for you business people out there who need to record their travel time. Price is $338.
