These Mood Beams creatures really make me smile. I have no idea why they are so cute
but I admit that I will probably talk someone into buying me one as a gift. I know, the target market is children but they are adorable!
Mood Beams react to simple tapping on their heads to change modes or moods. They go from strobing different colors, a cute little heart light, rainbow mode and many other combinations.
I think this would make a great friend for a child afraid of the dark (or an adult!) and I’m looking into these as unique gifts for neices and nephews this year.

Have they gone too far with fingerprint safe devices? I’ve seen the laptop that will scan your fingerprint before allowing you use to it. Now I have found a safe that will keep your valuables under lock and key, unless you have the encoded fingerprint to open it.
Talk about technology! But is it wasted when it’s used on something like a safe? It only weighs in at 28 lbs. so it makes me wonder how easily it can be cracked offsite. That’s right, can they simply take your box of valuables and work on getting it open without your finger somehow?
We’ve all seen the movies where they take a fingerprint (or remove a finger!) and are able to gain access to the most private of places. Maybe it’s a good idea for a small fortune but I’m not sure I’d invest in this for items I really wanted safe. It does seem like it would be a quick/easy way to store things. Convenient enough.
What do you think? Check out the main site for information and relatively high pricing.

Do you like sushi? Do you enjoy chocolate? Well, imagine chocolate flavors and edible
displays of sushi as an after sushi dessert. I know, it sounds just plain weird. It’s chocolate that is molded to look JUST LIKE sushi but taste JUST LIKE chocolate.
Koo-ki Sushi is detailed with each color and texture to match the specific sushi dish. Even eat the delicate gold patterns and edible decorative greenery that goes with it. That’s right! Perfect gift for someone that adores sushi and wouldn’t mind eating it with a different flavor.
Great treats with a different look. Would be incredible as party desserts. Visit the main site for more details and all the designs and packaging. It all looks so tasty!

Ok, so you haven’t had enough of the fabulously pink gadgets yet?
Sony is coming out with a pink colored PSP for the female crowd. Divas, listen up, they are pushing pink! This looks more cotton-candy colored than some of the other items we’ve reviewed but I think I still like it.
Of course, they went a step further and invited Pink, the singer, to donate exclusive video content and a new and unreleased song to be included on the handhelds. Nice move, Sony!
It looks to only come out in the UK and the date is set for October 27th with a price of £169.99. I don’t think you’ll be limited too much if you can wait…I’m sure e-bay will have them available soon after for those of us in America. I would definitely keep a look out before purchasing the drab colors offered here now.
Thanks, ShinyShiny, for the information!

Yes, that’s right, girls, Playstation has come out with a new and ever-so-pink Playstation 2 gaming console. Expected to be released this November, the pink console will include fancy pink controllers and a delicate pink memory card.
Tell me this won’t keep those game-addicted boys off your system! Maybe not, but at least you can claim it as your own and they probably will not argue. It seems this version is set to include the game ‘Singstar Pop‘ which doesn’t seem as fitting as the color, but at least they are trying to please the ladies of the gaming world for once!
The pink Playstation is just one of the many new gadgets that companies have done some ‘forward-thinking’ on in trying to lure those of us that are addicted to gadgets, and happen to be female, to buy. I don’t know about you but I think pink sells.

This prototype ring is an interesting reminder to your spouse that will not allow them to forget that special wedding day. That’s right, you can program the ring with a date. Near that date, each year, 24 hours prior to the dedicated day, the ring will heat up to around 120 degrees (not hot enough to burn you but hot enough to "remind" you) on their finger.

This is a quick and somewhat painless reminder of that special anniversary day that everyone seems to claim to forget. A ring like this will not allow you to simply forget! Not only does it heat up but it does so every 10 minutes during that 24 hour period.
The Remember Ring converts the heat from your hand into electricity utilizing some kind of micro-thermo pile setup. In fact, The Foo Logs had a great point in saying that there is no on/off switch for this lovely invention…and so once you DO remember the special date, are you then being punished for the "sins" of all the men that forgot in the past?
Good point! Original idea by Cleve Oines who runs the website for Goldsmith Gallery. Is this technology at work or a horrible gadget that will haunt those that decide to wear it?

I find it interesting that a university in Europe has installed a touchscreen table-top computer system so kids get their drinks immediately. The order is sent to the bar staff, and to speed up the process even more, customers can even use a swipe card to pay. It’s actually a great idea, and I hope they implement it here soon. I hate waiting for a person to take down my order when I know what I want. Don’t you? I say skip all the formalities, get my food because I’m hungry, damit! The tech bar is more than a waiter, it also calls up a taxi for when you’ve had too much to drink, and you can even socialize with the guys at the other table. Let the table take care of you, you just worry about paying. I love it!
