Sony has unveiled a new cellphone with a mirrored design. The new Z610 is going to take the Diva world by storm. There’s even one in pink! Yeah, I’ve been pink-crazy lately but this pink is more a mauve if you don’t go cotton candy pink with your accessories.
With black and teal available too, this phone will appeal to almost any cellphone user. A 3G phone with style that keeps the gadget license by adding a neat feature. When you have the phone in a standby mode, the mirrored front is just that, mirrored. But, when you need some statistics like the time or other details, the phone will show those through the mirrored design front.
It really looks amazing and this will turn heads. I think it’s going to be a fantastic idea and will be used in other gadgets as it is perfected.
Get a look at the Optimus keyboard and you wonder how convenient it really could be. The keyboard has a nice slim build and a sleek interface. The customization plays second-fiddle to the neat look of the keyboard as a whole.
This keyboard is to be released near the end of 2006 so the timeframe is certainly on its way. Different languages, gaming with FPS type formats, specific programs and many other options offer you a fun way to design your keys like you design your wallpaper. They claim it will cost less than a good cellphone, they will work on making it more ergonomic in the future designs, they will add animated keys if needed and to further customize the keyboard you can order this worldwide.
There is a specific page with answers on it…read up on this Optimus and save up for a neat addition to your desk. This is truly artwork.
If Hello Kitty isn’t your style and you just can’t handle another pinkgadget, but still want a cellphone with a little feminine flair, then BenQ-Siemens might have your number with the AL26 Butterfly due out sometime next month. The shimmering white (not pink) casing of this compact slider phone features a charming purple butterfly motif and charm. While the actual specs of the Butterfly AL26 are very close to that of the previously announced Hello Kitty AL26, BenQ-Siemens’ press release calls the phone "the perfect
fashion accessory for young, style-conscious women," which is a little unfortunate for the not-as-young style-conscious woman (uh, such as myself) who, apparently, won’t be attracted to this phone. Regardless, this stylish phone features easy to operate speech telephony functionality for messages and organizing appointments, as well as a hands-free system that allows you to "continue your call while putting on make-up" (I swear that’s what it says on the website). Here’s some video I took while standing outside the Backstage Creations Tent where celebs get their swag. The video has footage of celebrities walking down the Red Carpet at the Teen Choice Awards 2006 in Los Angeles, CA.
Do you love having cereal for breakfast, but do not have the time to sit down to a bowl? Sure you can get the cereal bars, but after awhile you get tired of those and you do not get the cool refreshing taste of actual milk. Brain Twist offers a unique way to have your cereal and milk on the go. Liquid Cereal is a blend of your favorite cereal and fat free milk. It is offered in a variety of flavors like Apple Cinnamon, Fruit, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate. There isn’t a lot of information on the company’s website yet, but I will be picking up a case of this stuff as soon as I see it at my local grocery store. [Product Page]  [PopGadget]
A new way to tour the city–Tour Coupes! San Diego has launched a tour coupe rental company with tons of locations around the city. You can rent a coupe and get a narrarated GPS-powered tour which includes sound effects, video, maps and photos of the "sensed" area. Each coupe is colorful and they fit two adults in each vehicle.
The top speed is 30mph so you can expect to have a relaxing ride while viewing local history, hearing stories of the area you are in and generally being ’shown around’ by an electronic gadget.
A gallery is included on the site so you can see the Tour Coupes in action with visitors from around the world. I can imagine a ride near a beach would be more fun that one centered around a city area. I wonder how long it will take for this to become a widespread thing?
I remember as a girl riding in double-pedal double-seated carts while visiting Galveston. Is this taking the place of the manpower it took to ride in the past–but adding the luxury of gadgets to make the tour more wholesome? I think so.
ABITAX Pocket-L and Pocket-S is simply a neat pouch for your cellphone. This neat gadget holder will serve a dual purpose in keeping you stylish and keeping your gadgets protected.
Use with a cellphone, iPod or other device and store your gadgets neatly while keeping them nice and warm, too. Now, going through the ABITAX site leads me to the pricing which is in Yen. I’m sure if you do some translating, you could figure out how to order this pouch for yourself.
I think they lend a very unique and stylish look to the usual boring leather cases. There are ten different color combinations to choose from and a fairly visual site.

Imagine sitting around your coffee table with a bunch of friends when all of a sudden someone puts their glass on the table and it lights up. This is the things that science fiction movies are made of. Not anymore. KLOSS has developed the DeLighTable, a pressure sensitive coffee table that will light up when objects are placed on it. The framework is finished in polished stainless steel, and is only twenty five millimeters thick, but the real magic is in the surface. The surface is made of a dark liquid sandwiched between a light source and a plastic film. When the object is placed on the surface, the liquid moves out from beneath it and the light shines through. These tables are made to order with a lead time of about four to six weeks. If you would like one of these, the price tag is £1200. [Product Page]  [OhGizmo]
