Have you ever had one of those days that made you want to destroy something? What if you had a self destruct button by your side? This is a standard four port USB except for the fact that it is disguised as a Self Destruct terminal. The hub has two switches, a key, and a protected self-destruct button! When you hit the self destruct button, an audio file is played on your computer that says “KILL, KILL, KILL.” Of course someone will eventually come out with some sort of fix to make it do more than that, but it will have to wait for someone clever to figure it out. This will run you about $62 and will be available at the end of July.

I finally got around to reviewing the Nike + iPod Sports Kit, the armband and the Nike Plus website. The review is pretty long, but pretty detailed on how the the iPod Sports Kit works. I’ve been using it to keep track of my runs everyday, as well as testing exactly how it works when in use, or when you’re idle. The sad thing is that it only works with iPod nanos. If you don’t have an iPod nano, you’ll be spending more money than you should. The Nike + Sport Armband is optional, but it helps you find that center button which is pivotal during your runs, and it also fits both the iPod nano and receiver. Pressing the center button is how you get constant updates throughout your workout, play you PowerSong, and resume the workout. The footwear was comfortable, the Nike Plus community option is great, but the whole setup may set you back $200-$300. If want to lose some weight, but need a little motivation, this is the tool to get.

This cute little fellow is called the Mu-Bot. It debuted at the 2006 Tokyo Toy fair. With a lot of robot toys and accessories at the fair, this is one of the ones that stood out. The arms of the Mu-Bot are retractable earbuds with the reel inside of the robots body. The audio connector comes out the back like a tail. Other than that, there is not too much to the Mu-Bot. It is a real simple product packaged in a really cute case. I wonder what kind of color options they are going to offer eventually. I think the Mu-Bot would be great in green, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Well Nike and Apple teamed up and developed a new device that records every step while you run!! You can still listen to music too!!! Pretty sweet!! Check it out $29 (Read Techie Diva Review)
The device is put under your sole of the specially made Nike shoe and every step you take is recorded onto your ipod nano wirelessly. Then you can upload all your stats of your run, and check out your goals and more!!
The only thing that isn’t nice about this, is that you have to buy the device & the special Nike shoe!!! So you will probably spend around $100..
Thanks to the help of digg.com I found out a hack for the Nike + iPod nano so you can use this new device on any shoe!!!!
Basically this guy sewed a velcro strip on the tongue of his shoe and glued the other vellcro strip to back of the ipod/nike device. Then he attached the device and secured it with his shoe lace (see picture below) And it worked!!! So he can record all his runs and still use the normal running shoes that he loves!!

What if you could wear your iPod as a watch? This is just a concept idea by Peter Burns, but it seems like it would really catch on. The iWatch will be a watch and an iPod combined. Some features that maybe included are 10GB of storage and you would listen to your music through a Bluetooth headset. This is just a concept, but I like it and I hope that it will hit the market eventually.

Have you ever been on a date and wondered how bad your breath was? You do not want to embarrass yourself with smelly breath. Micro Electro-Mechanical (MEM) Bad Breath detector detects the foul breath that could be in your mouth. Similar to the MEM detector that is used to detect the amount of alcohol on a person breath; this particular one detects the chemicals that cause bad breath. These are usually sulphur-based compounds produced by food particles trapped in the mouth. You may think that you can smell your own breath and be able to tell how bad it is, but in truth, you get accustomed to the way your mouth smells and you will think that you smell fine. Be confident about your breath and pick up one of these Kiss-Me-Meters. It is only a couple inches wide, so you can take it anywhere.

Pay close attention to this one…a gadget in it’s own right. A Miss Army kit instead of the popular "Swiss" version. This one comes in a compact size almost as small as your lip gloss. Includes the following:
- nail file
- tweezers
- needle and thread
- mirror
- torch
- scissors
- corkscrew
- perfume bottle
- pill box
- mini knife
- bottle opener
- ruler
- pen
Featured in a nice pink color with all items you might need to take with you, just try carrying all this separately in your purse or bag. It won’t be THIS compact no matter how hard you try. Look here for more information on the Miss Army Kit.

Have you been caught up in the latest trend with all the compact MP3 players? I certainly have and not only has the iPod captured my attention, but the Creative brand has brought some attention to itself lately. Take a peek at the MuVo Slim by Creative and try to find a good reason why this wouldn’t be compact enough for you to store away in your purse.
As slim as a credit card, this one’s the extreme side of ‘portability’ and gives you all the same options as some of the thicker models. I have poured over the different brands and sizes and this one has me drooling.
I carry a smaller purse and this one would fit perfectly with my cellphone beside it. You can enjoy up to 8 hours of music stored or use the built in FM tuner for local stations. It also has a personal voice recorder, built in microphone and up to 16 hours of recording for this option. Choose from 7 different colors including a nice feminine pink. (I like pink!)
Recharges via USB and uses drag/drop setup to move files…making it easier to use on the go without extra software to worry about. While carrying gadgets, you must make sure they are small when you want to travel light. Take a look at the specifications from Creative and consider this MP3 player as your next purchase if you seek this type of slim portability.
