Toilet Aquarium

Posted on 24 July 2006 by Keisha

Do you want an aquarium in your place, but you don’t seem to have any room for one? This unique idea combines a toilet and an aquarium to produce the Fish ‘n Flush Aquarium. The aquarium comes with a 3 piece aquarium tank, dual filter system with pump, LED light system, 2-nine inch artificial plants, and a basic aquarium guide. The toilet has your basic flushing system which includes a flush valve, and a fill valve. Another great feature is that every time you flush, jets of water will shoot into the fish tank giving the fish a little bit of excitement. This is a great way to make more space, and if you are ever bored on the toilet, you can watch your fish swim around or get shot with jets of water.

Gizmodo mentioned that Microsoft has a big interview with Billboard magazine where they think Microsoft is going to anounce details of the Zune. Check out any new information on the Zune at Zunenation.com.

Mood Beams

Posted on 20 July 2006 by Keisha

These adorable little creatures are called Mood Beams. These are portable mood lights that are in the shape of little creatures. They can cycle through colors in a variety of color combos which include heartbeat, rainbow, strobe, color dance, and color hold. I think the more interesting feature is that it they are sound sensitive. This means that they can change colors with the beat of your music. What can I say, I am a sucker for cute gadgets that sequence lights, and they are only about $18. You can also pick all four up for $65.

Parents Can Use ComputerTime

Posted on 20 July 2006 by Annie-san

If you have children, you will understand the many faceted issues that arise when trying to organize how much time or how little time you will allow your child to be online.  I have looked at many options for limiting the time on the computer for my own children.  I was recently pointed to a new upgraded system as an option.

ComputerTime has been upgraded and released for parents that work during the day or just need extra help in monitoring their childrens online time.  SoftwareTime has released this product and with a 14 day trial, there’s no risk.

ComputerTime offers you many options now including upgraded notices (bubbles that warn your child of timeframes ending) at 15, 10, 5 and 1 min. remaining, admin. password, new away feature that allows the screensaver to engage, tokens as awards for your child and much more.  I am pretty good about monitoring my children but I think if I were a mom that had to work outside the home, it would be much harder.

This program seems to take the amount of time our children spend on the computer seriously and allows flexibility but also limitations.  I like this idea and when I return home from vacation, I plan on putting it to use in my home.

Portable Spa Saves Time/Energy

Posted on 20 July 2006 by Annie-san

For the frequent traveler or the compact yard, this portable spa could be the answer you are looking for.  The makers insist that the portable spa is easy to set up (less than 30 mins.) and the relaxation of a spa can be quickly taken advantage of with this setup.  Using a "simulated redwood" look and a portable concept, the spa can be taken on trips if you are an RV enthusiast or used in a smaller yard periodically.

No tools needed, uses a 110 plug and only 9 amps, contains 127 powerful turbo microjets to massage your body and can fit from 4-6 people easily into them.  I live in an area with many travelers and this seems to be a nice alternative for RVers or those that come to the area for only 4 months out of the year.

With two options available, you can choose which portable spa is needed for your vacation home or elsewhere.  Simply visit this site and choose the one that most fits your needs.

iPod Armband

Posted on 20 July 2006 by Annie-san

I have seen a few of these on the market but not one with such a sleek design.  The iPod is easy to carry around and addicting in its use…therefore I imagine many will take on the option of jogging, running, hiking and other outdoor activities with their favorite music (if they haven’t already).

The ActiveSport Armband for both the iPod Nano and iPod with video is an excellent choice when shopping for a way to take advantage of this opportunity.  Not only does the armband look good but it also features an excellent breathable mesh material, adjustable Velcro strap and it is made with reflective material to add to your safety plan while exercising.

The sewn-in screen protector is an added feature for this wristband as well.  Take it with you anywhere!

Magnesium Cases for the iPaq

Posted on 20 July 2006 by Annie-san

For so long I used an iPaq to store all my information.  When I moved to Colorado I stopped using it and gave it to my brother who was located in Dallas, a busier place.  I now have realized I miss my Ipaq and I’m looking into purchasing yet another model.

I stumbled upon these new cases made of magnesium and had to view the specifications.  It seems they would offer me more stability than the cases I bought two years ago for my old model.  These cases work with the HP4700 and HP4705 and are closely matched in color to the iPaq device.

I think they look sleek and they have more features than previously offered cases I’ve seen.  Not only do they protect your device but they also allow you to freely use it.  I hate cases that keep me from using a feature.  The InnoPocket Magnum case has a belt-clip and post system, a flip top design, double hinged covers that fold completely out of the way, cut-outs for accessories like IR port, record button and more.  It also features easy access to the power button and all memory slots.

Visit this site for purchasing information.

Samsung and 10 Megapixels

Posted on 19 July 2006 by Annie-san

Coming soon to a store near you, August of 2006, is the new Samsung ‘S’ Series cameras.  Aimed to capture the beginner digital camera user and the professional photographer, the ‘S’ series has feature packed options and ease of use.  Featured photo is the NV series just released which I also mention.

The S700 and the S1000 are both being released and talked about heavily with the NV series that is already out.  The S1000 supports MPEG-4, a high-compression, high-quality video format already used in some cameras.  The S700 offers MJPEG video recording.  The S1000 touts the ability to capture more than one hour of high quality (640×480) video at 30fps with a 256MB memory card in use.  Also, the 3x optical zoom is available during video recording.  I haven’t seen this in use elsewhere just yet.

The cameras will include many special effects options to play with and seem to have new features that the NV already includes…but with more gusto.  Watch for the release and visit the Samsung site for more detailed information on the NV series that is already available.
