Monopoly upgrades

Posted on 25 July 2006 by Keisha

We all remember playing Monopoly as kids. Sometimes we would even pretend the money was real. Those days are going to change. Parker Brothers and VISA are developing fake credit cards to use with newer versions of Monopoly. In order to add or subtract money from the cards, the newer games will be equipped with a calculator that will be able to read and write to the fake cards. Parker Brothers says that they are upgrading to move with the times. In some surveys, 70% of adults use cash less than they did ten years ago. So I guess the times are changing. With change, there is always a price. The new version of the game will cost about twice as much as the classic version. If you like the classic version, better get one now before they are phased out completely.
