Human-Powered Lighting Shoes

Humanpower Mexican designer Alberto Villarreal designed the perfect shoe for night joggers. The Bright Walk shoe illuminates the joggers dark path by emitting light from the front and back of the shoe to avoid any accidents. Piezo-electric sensors in the sole convert impacting force produced by walking or running, and converts it into electric energy. The sensors in the soles then transmit impulses to activate the lights. Besides its aesthetic constribution to the fashion scene, it addresses the safety of runners.
